Sonia Odedra had a remarkable league debut for Leicester Ivanhoe in the Premier Division.
Sonia, who has moved from Everards League club Syston, took 4-6 as Newbold Verdon were skittled for 33 in a dramatic low-scoring game.
The wicket was damp after overnight rain and Ivanhoe may have feared the worst after they were bowled out for 79.
However, the home side found batting even more difficult.
Henry Harrison, who top-scored with 22 in the Ivanhoe innings, followed up with 6-20 and, with Odedra proving almost impossible to score from, Newbold were routed.
Ivanhoe skipper Richard Clark said of his opening attack: "They were getting the ball to move off the seam and it was also swinging in the air."
