The City Cricket Academy runs state of the art Cricket facilities and makes them available to all age groups, clubs, schools and individuals. With a focus on offering expert coaching and developing new talent, the main aim of the Academy is to ensure that the people who use the Academy have a positive experience, enjoyable and safe time learning and playing cricket which is backed up by our friendly approachable coaches and staff. All our coaches are E.C.B (English Cricket Board) qualified and C.R.B checked. Our senior coaches are former first class cricketers.

Our Academy group classes are open to all children from 5yrs to 16yrs and this is a great starting point for any young aspiring cricketer.  We run evening and weekend group sessions where young players can come along and learn to play in a fun and enjoyable way with other boys and girls of their age. Academy coaches make every session fun and enjoyable while guiding and developing the kids through every aspect of the game.

During all school holidays the Academy runs special school holiday camps where children aged between 5yrs to 16yrs can get expert cricket coaching, enjoy and develop their game, make new friends and stay fit.

During the summer school holidays the Academy runs the summer cricket camp for 6 weeks for children aged between 5yrs-16yrs. Apart from expert coaching and training participants get a chance to play in well organised outdoor games. Also local trips to historical cricket venues are organised. A great way for the kids to spend their summer. At the end of summer camp the Academy runs the very popular colour clothing cricket tournament. The outdoor tournament runs for 5 days where children get the chance to put all their hard work into practice and play in a real competitive cricket competition.  Every child plays in coloured clothing kit. Trophies and prizes are awarded to all the winners and outstanding performers.
