Don started playing cricket at the age of 9 in his hometown state of Assam in India. At the age of 16 he made his first class debut for Assam where he played for 5 years. In 2002 Don moved to Nottingham to study and continued to play competitive cricket for Pappelwick & Linby CC in the Nottingham Premier League. After finishing his studies Don moved to Leicester and started The City Cricket Academy coaching just a few youngsters in the evenings and weekends. Now the Academy has grown and moved into state-of-the-art facilities so that coaching can be conducted in the best environment possible. Don continues to play cricket in Leicester for Syston CC in the Everards Premier League where he has a reputation for being a very hard hitting batsman.

Dons coaching strengths are: Batting, Swing Bowling, Slip Catching and working with large groups.

Laurie Started playing cricket in Australia at the age of 12 and was coached by the Australian great Norman O'Neill. Laurie played cricket for Western Australia before moving back to England to play for Kent CCC and the Leicestershire CCC. Laurie also played first class cricket in South Africa for Orange Free State and Griqualand West. Laurie is in the Guinness Book of Records for being the only player to captain both the England Under 19's and the Australian Under 19's.

Lauries coaching strengths are: Batting, Spin Bowling, Fielding Techniques and Coaching Young Players.

A close friend of Don, Shiv often pops into the academy to help out with the coaching. Shiv has played 23 Test matches for India as an opening batman and scored 250 against Essex in Indias tour of England in 2002. Shivs knowledge and experience of the game at the highest level allow him to offer great advice to any up and coming cricketers on what it takes to make it in the modern game. There aren't many players who can say they have scored a 300 in first class cricket but Shiv is one player who can.
