Master Classes
Starting this weekend the academy welcomes several international standard coaches who will be giving master classes to our trainees and the touring party from Bangalore. The confirmed coaches so far are:
Julien Fountain
Former England specialist fielding coach
Sunday 2nd October 2011 - £20
4.30pm – 6pm
Julien has previously worked as a fielding coach with the England team and also with Pakistan, Bangladesh and the West Indies specialist. Ian Pont
Specialist Fast Bowling Coach,
has worked with the likes of Dale Steyn
Wednesday 5th October 2011 - £30
6 pm – 8pm
Ian Pont runs the Mavericks Cricket Institute and is seen as one of the top fast bowling coaches. In his playing career Ian played professionally for Essex, and is also the only English cricketer to play a professional baseball game in America. Within coaching, Ian has worked as head bowling coach for Bangladesh, Essex C.C.C. and Northamptonshire C.C.C. More information can be found at: www.maverickscricket.com
Gary Palmer
Ex- Somerset all-rounder and batting coach to Australia and India
Thursday 6th October 2011 - £20 - 5.30pm – 7pm
Gary Palmer is a former Somerset all-rounder who now runs his own coaching company, Cricket Coach Master. Gary is seen as an expert batting coach and has worked with the Australia and India test teams and was Gloucestershire C.C.C batting coach. Gary's website:www.cricketcoachmaster.co.uk
These sessions provide a great opportunity to learn cricketing tips from elite coaches. Normally these sessions would be around £75 each but we will be offering the sessions at the discounted prices as shown. Spaces are limited and will be first come first served.
