After a highly successful season for CCA sides, we have decided upon the 8 players who will train for the chance to win the special touring prize to Bangalore. The players were chosen for their performances, commitment and attitude towards the game and team mates.

The 8 players are:

1. Will Hunt - has been consistent with his performances and has performed really well in senior cricket apart from being very good in youth cricket.

2. Jai Pandit - has improved overall and is very committed. He also performed well when given an opportunity to play senor cricket.

3. Emily Jefferson - As a girl Emily has bowled well throughout the season and has been very economical in her bowling.

4. Jack O'Callaghan - Played well throughout the season and scored runs when mattered under pressure.

5. Alex Tutt - Has opened the batting for CCA this summer, helping the team to some great starts and has shown high level of ground fielding and catching, taking the most catches during the summer.

6. Amarjot Singh - Scored a hundred in senior cricket and backed it with a 6 wickets haul too. He is the only player from CCA to take 5 or more wickets in an innings and score a century in the season.

7. Tim Wong - Has played consistently well in youth cricket and has stepped up to mens cricket which has included a 4 wicket haul and a number of catches.

8. Henry Sawers - Bowled superbly in the season, bowling tight spells and taking vital wickets in crucial matches, including the district final, county semi final and final

It was a very difficult decision after so many great performances across the season. Special mentions go to Kishan Patel, Dilan Tank, Milan Shah, Ben Coddington, Bravo Tank, Khamesh Vather and Chirag Modi who just missed out this year. These were among many others who have impressed.

Details will be sent out to the 8 individuals about the upcoming training session
