CCA/HTCC Under 13’s B vs Kibworth CC
Winning their match in subliminal fashion last week, a Cup match against a very strong side in Kibworth was their next task. Kibworth winning the toss and putting the u13’s into bat first. A strong batting performance was required to ensure they had a large total to defend. Aditiya Ishwaran (26*), Rahul Acharya (26*) and Krishil Rajpara (20*) all worked tirelessly against a rampant bowling attack to muster a below par score of 104-7 in 20 overs. An inspirational bowling performance, similar to last week, was required to ensure victory. However, unfortunately for the u13’s this couldn’t be emulated. Kibworth being ruthless with the bat knocked off the total within 10.3 overs losing only 1 wicket along the way. Despite the loss, many positives have been taken from the match, which has been discussed to be taken into future matches.
